Accenture, one of the worldβs largest professional services firms, has confirmed the layoff of more than 11,000 employees in the past three months as it undergoes a significant global restructuring. The company has spent more than $2 billion on "business optimisation," with a substantial portion allocated to severance costs over the last three years.
