He is thriving in late-game situations, which was once an enormous knock against him, and he has enjoyed a complete career renaissance since leaving Cleveland and landing in Tampa Bay. He has the Buccaneers atop the NFC South and is now widely considered one of the early favorites for the league’s Most Valuable Player award.

I hesitate to mention Mayfield and Cleveland because of the vitriolic emotion it brings out of Browns fans. There is a lot of revisionist history tied to the Mayfield saga these days in Northeast Ohio.
