A man who sexually abused his four-year-old niece and subjected her older sister to “numerous” incidents of abuse from when she was eight until 11 years old has said he was a “coward” not to hand himself in to gardaí.
The now 34-year-old man appeared before a sitting of the Central Criminal Court in Cork today having pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexually assaulting the older child and to one count in relation to her younger sister.
