The Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) has announced the dates for its 14th edition, which will take place from October 30 to November 2, 2025, at the Tibetan Children’s Village in Upper Dharamshala.Over the past decade, DIFF has emerged as one of India’s leading independent film festivals, known for its thoughtful curation and for creating a space where filmmakers and audiences can engage in dialogue away from the commercial pressures of mainstream cinema.This year’s Opening Night Film will be Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan . Adapted from a 2020 New York Times article by Basharat Peer, the film follows two childhood friends from a small village in North India who aspire to become police officers in search of respect and recognition.
