Giorgia Meloni, Italy’s first female Prime Minister, has written a memoir and it is deeply personal. From her childhood in a working-class neighbourhood to becoming one of the most-talked-about global leaders, ‘I Am Giorgia: My Roots, My Principles’ (brought out in India by Rupa Publications) is a journey of conviction, resilience and identity.

The book comes with two forewords, one by Prime Minister Narendra Modi (“It is not just an autobiography; it is her Mann ki Baat”) and the other by President Donald Trump (“If you want to truly understand conservative revolution, then read this book”).
