The wife of a sub-inspector in Chhattisgarh Police filed a complaint accusing senior IPS officer Ratan Lal Dangi of "physical, mental, and financial harassment." In a counter-complaint, Dangi, an Inspector General of Police, has levelled serious charges of blackmail and extortion against the woman.
The woman, however, has denied any allegations of sexual harassment, saying she would speak to the media only after the investigation concludes.
