A grand parade and cultural showcase will mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar on October 31. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the celebrations, which will include a Republic Day–style parade, aerial displays and performances reflecting India’s unity and diversity.
