The cloud seeding operation planned for Wednesday to induce artificial rain in Delhi-NCR has been called off after scientists from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur found that moisture levels in the atmosphere were too low for the process to work effectively.
According to the IIT Kanpur team, real-time meteorological data showed that clouds over the region lacked the required moisture content for successful cloud seeding.
