A huge gathering of over 10,000 farmers brought Nagpur to a virtual halt on Tuesday and Wednesday, forcing the Devendra Fadnavis government to announce the deferment of loan recovery from farmers till June 30, 2026, and set up a committee to discuss ways and means to pull farmers out of a debt trap.
