The Central government has launched a new scheme under the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to bring more workers into the formal social security system. Called the Employee Enrolment Scheme 2025, it came into effect on November 1, 2025.
The move aims to encourage employers to voluntarily declare and enrol all eligible employees who are not yet covered under the EPF.
