As votes loom on November 6 and 11, with results on the 14th, the state is buzzing with that familiar mix of hope, hype, and hangover. Nitish Kumar is loved and respected across Bihar, from Patna's posh circles to Purnea's paddy fields, Nitish ji is the uncle who brought roads and electricity and gave bicycles to school-going girls. Women, especially, swear by him cutting across caste and class lines.
