Airtel shares rose nearly 3% in early trade on Tuesday after the telecom major reported strong earnings for the July-September quarter of FY26. The stock opened on a positive note and hit a high of Rs 2,129 on the NSE, up from its previous close of Rs 2,074.

The rise came as brokerages expressed confidence in Airtel’s long-term growth, driven by higher profitability, a growing base of premium subscribers, improved average revenue per user (ARPU), and continued operational strength across India and Africa.
