Max Dowman has become the youngest player to feature in a Champions League match after coming on in the 72nd minute for Arsenal against Slavia Prague on Tuesday night.

Dowman, who is 15 years and 308 days old, has beaten the previous record set by Youssoufa Moukoko, who came on for Borussia Dortmund in December 2020 at the age of 16 years and 18 days.

The latest record broken by the teenager comes a week after he became the youngest to start a match for Arsenal in their Carabao Cup tie against Brighton at the Emirates.
