Poland has unveiled a new programme of universal and voluntary military training.
The so-called "wGotowoΕci" (mReadiness) programme was announced by Chief of General Staff Gen Wieslaw KukuΕa, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence WΕadysΕaw Kosiniak-Kamysz and Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defence Cezary Tomczyk.
During a press conference, KukuΕa explained that the programme envisages five lines of focus across two different pathways.
"Firstly, to strengthen the individual resilience of citizens and secondly to strengthen the availability, resilience and competence of the reserves," he said.
