Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar, on Saturday (October 4, 2025), while making a reference to the upcoming power plant at Pirpainti in election-bound Bihar’s Bhagalpur district, said that the “vote thief government is land thief too”, in a veiled dig at the BJP-led government at the Centre.
“For several days, there were talks of a land survey going on in Bihar, and people were doing rounds of local block offices, keeping their land papers in hand, but the real purpose of the government was to identify lands to be grabbed and hand them over to their friends.
