A one time 100-day window by the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) for revenue property owners to get A Khata has received a lukewarm response. Of the estimated 7.5 lakh such properties, only about 2,000 revenue property owners have applied till date from November 1, when the window opened.

The high conversion fee (5% of the guidance value of the plot), which could run into ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh in most cases for a 30X40 plot, seems to be a big hurdle.
