S&P Global Ratings has upgraded South Africa’s credit rating for the first time in almost two decades. This is on the back of improved growth prospects, stronger revenue performance and easing pressure from state-owned enterprises. South Africa’s public and private sector partnership, Operation Vulindlela, is now in Phase II.
