The operators of Federation Square have promised an urgent review into security breaches at a free Amyl and the Sniffers concert but are not blaming the band's fan base.
The free concert on Friday night was cancelled after hundreds of people broke through security fences after the entry gates were closed.
Organisers were concerned the breach raised the real possibility of a crowd crush at the event.
