Puducherry has etched a place on the global sailing map with the city-based Pondy Yacht Club (PYC) gaining the accreditation of the International Sailing Schools Association (ISSA), an organisation with over 3,500 affiliate sailing schools from across the world.
This watermark of approval also makes the PYC, India’s first ISSA-recognised sailing institution, and its multi-tiered sailing courses---beginner level to intermediate yacht crew training---a globally certified skillset.
