The Government of Telangana has launched Tourist Police Units across major tourist destinations in the state as part of its efforts to enhance visitor safety and deliver a world-class travel experience.
As part of the initiative, 80 police personnel underwent specialised training in Orientation and Sensitisation of Tourist Police from October 6 to 9 at the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), Hyderabad.
