Jake Moody, playing his first game for the Chicago Bears after being elevated from the practice squad Monday night, booted a game-winning 38-yard field goal as time expired, giving the Bears a 25-24 win over the Washington Commanders.

The Commanders had been attempting to run out the clock, but a fumbled exchange between quarterback Jayden Daniels and running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt near midfield with about three minutes left gave Chicago a chance. It was Washington’s third turnover on a cool and rainy night.
