Afghan Taliban and Pakistan claim many dead in new clashes
The Pakistani military and Taliban government have accused each other of initiating attacks in Afghanistan's border district of Spin Boldak
Violence between the neighbours has flared since explosions rocked Afghanistan last week, which Kabul blamed on Islamabad. The Taliban deny claims it is harbouring militants targeting Pakistan.
A Taliban government spokesman said 12 Afghan civilians had been killed and more than 100 wounded by Pakistani firing.
