OpenAI is stepping into Google’s territory. The ChatGPT maker announced on Tuesday it’s launching its own web browser, called Atlas, marking a direct challenge to the world’s most popular browser, Chrome.
OpenAI, now the world’s most valuable startup, hopes Atlas will become a gateway for online searches and a new stream of ad revenue.
