On November 3, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a presidential decree establishing a visa-free regime for U.S. citizens, “[i]n order to create favorable conditions for the further development of interstate relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United States of America in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and tourism spheres.”
From January 1, 2026, all U.S. citizens will be able to enter Uzbekistan without a visa and stay for up to 30 days.
