And crucially, many foreign residents are eligible to vote.

Denmark's 2025 local elections are just around the corner on November 18th. According to the interior ministry, some 480,901 foreign nationals are eligible to vote in the elections including 280,952 from EU and Nordic countries as well as the United Kingdom.
