A Parliamentary Ad-Hoc Committee member and a political analyst have described the kidnapping of the head of investigations and operations at the National Prosecuting Authority’s Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) as a ‘worrying’ development. These concerns extend to the extent to which cartels are prepared to cover up their tracks, while the other is a ‘lingering suspicion’
