Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (November 15, 2025) accused successive Congress governments of neglecting tribal communities during their 60 years in power, despite their significant role in the country’s freedom struggle. Commenting on the BJP-led NDA’s landslide victory in Bihar, Mr. Modi said it proved that voters have rejected a caste-driven political narrative, noting that the NDA had swept almost all seats with a large Dalit electorate.
