Starmer leads 100-member U.K. delegation on India visit

U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived in India for a two-day visit starting Wednesday (October 8, 2025), with a delegation of over 100 people, including CEOs and representatives from British institutes, universities and industry groups. The visit comes months after India and the U.K. signed a trade deal during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s July visit to the European country. It also comes as both countries are navigating major geopolitical shifts, including their respective trading relationships with the U.S., under the administration of Donald Trump.
