President Javier Milei will not attend the G20 Leaders Summit in South Africa later this month, nor the December meeting of Mercosur heads of state in nearby Foz de Iguazú.
The news, confirmed by an official spokesperson for the President to the AFP news agency midweek, is the latest multilateral snub by Milei, who seems increasingly reluctant to attend international gatherings that include non-aligned world leaders.
