Lithuaniaโs Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys stated on Thursday that the European Union must strengthen its defense partnerships and enhance closer cooperation with Tรผrkiye against emerging threats.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Budrys said that while Europe has boosted military spending in recent years, the continent still lacks the industrial capacity, speed and coordination needed for a long-term deterrence strategy, as the Ukraine war continues and other threats mount.
