Timipre Sylva, the immediate past Minister of State for Petroleum, has written to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), requesting a mutually agreed date for him to appear at the agency over the corruption allegations levelled against him.
The former governor of Bayelsa State, in a letter addressed to the EFCC chairman, frowned on the move by the commission to declare him wanted over alleged $14.8 million fraud.
