Shares of GAIL (India) fell sharply in early trade on Friday after the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board approved a smaller-than-expected increase in pipeline tariff.
The stock slipped as much as 6% and was down 5.32% at Rs 174.03 on the Bombay Stock Exchange around 9:56 am.
PNGRB has raised the integrated pipeline tariff to Rs 65.69 per mmBtu from Rs 58.
