ISLAMABAD: A parliamentary committee has asked the Ministry of Energy to suspend the Jacobabad XEN facing electrocution inquiry and also directed it to provide the inquiry report to the panel.

The Senate Functional Committee on Problems of Less Developed Areas was held at the Parliament House on Thursday. Senator Agha Shahzaib Durrani chaired the meeting.

The committee received a briefing on the shifting of the Jacobabad XEN office to a location far from the city, which is causing inconvenience to residents.
