When 35-year-old bureaucrat Urvashi Prasad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, she struggled to accept what she was hearing. A lifelong non-smoker with no exposure to second-hand smoke, she had never imagined she would be battling a disease long associated with cigarettes.
βI had led a very healthy life. I never smoked. I wasnβt even exposed to second-hand smoke,β Urvashi, associated with the government's think tank Niti Ayog, told India Today.
