But after the NDA swept the Assembly polls in Bihar, former CM and the Leader of Opposition in the state Council, Rabri Devi, has been allotted a new bungalow at 39 Hardinge Road, barely a kilometre away and closer to her workplace.

Just the mention of the RJD first couple having to shift out of the 10 Circular Road bungalow, which is considered the party's power centre, has sparked consternation among its leaders, triggered a controversy and sparked a house hunt.
The RJD family has shown clear reluctance to move out.
