The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has launched a citywide door-to-door verification drive following a surge of objections to the draft voter list, particularly over duplicate enrolments and voters being placed in incorrect wards.
To assist citizens, the civic body has also set up voter assistance centres at the BMC headquarters and all 24 ward office
