A bright supermoon is set to light up the night sky, offering skywatchers the last and most dramatic full moon of 2025.
The December full moon, known as the Cold Moon, will appear larger and brighter than usual because it turns full very close to the Moon’s closest point to Earth in its orbit, a configuration astronomers call a supermoon.
