Hong Kong authorities said Wednesday that the death toll from last weekβs high-rise apartment fire has climbed to 159, as six people were arrested on suspicion of shutting off fire alarms during renovation work at the complex.
The youngest person who died in the fire was a 1-year-old, police said. The oldest was 97.
