A businesswoman, Mrs Mabel Alabijah Hussaini, has filed a fundamental rights enforcement suit at the Federal High Court, Lagos, against the Inspector-General of Police over alleged unlawful arrest, detention, and harassment related to a civil and matrimonial dispute. Others joined in the suit are senior police officers, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), her estranged husband, and a real estate firm.
