The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, on Monday (December 29, 2025) accorded Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for capital acquisition proposals amounting to about ₹79,000 crore from the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.
