Mastercard has granted an official licence to QNB group to resume its operations in Syria for the first time in 14 years, signalling a decisive step for the countryβs reintegration into global payment networks.
It comes after years of international isolation and sweeping sanctions imposed during the rule of Bashar Al Assad.
