Dubai's public parking operator is to oversee paid parking operations at select Spinneys and Waitrose supermarkets in the emirate as part of a major expansion drive.
Parkin will manage parking spaces and enforcement action at four Spinneys branches – in Trade Centre Road in Karama, Motor City, Al Meydan and Umm Suqeim – and two Waitrose stores in Motor City and Al Thanya.
Under a partnership announced on Wednesday, shoppers will receive two hours of free parking, with hourly tariffs in place for stays which extend beyond this period.
Spinneys operates more than 70 supermarkets under its own brand, as well as the Waitrose and Al Fair brands in the UAE and Oman.
