British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is poised to accept a post on the Gazaβs βboard of peaceβ that will oversee the territoryβs postwar governance and reconstruction.
In a move that will affect Britainβs foreign policy in the Middle East, it is understood the role has been offered by US President Donald Trump as part of the UN-mandated 20-point peace plan.
Should he accept as expected, Mr Starmer would join a board of 15 Arab and international leaders who will direct the initiative to temporarily administer Gaza, disarm Hamas and start the reconstruction process.
