Mike Tomlin Is Not Expected To Coach in 2026, and the Steelers Still Hold His Rights

Mike Tomlin is out in Pittsburgh after 19 seasons. ESPN reported the 53-year-old coach stepped down Tuesday, one day after the Steelers lost 30-6 to the Houston Texans in the AFC wild-card round. Tomlin never posted a losing season during his run, per ESPN and Elias Sports Bureau data included in ESPN’s report.Willie Parker did not hide his reaction.
