Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the United States and President Donald Trump, calling the Republican leader a "criminal" for the "casualties, damages, and slander" he caused to Iran. Khamenei accused Washington of orchestrating recent unrest in Iran while insisting that the country would not be pushed into war.
In remarks carried by local media Iranian International, Khamenei said, "We consider the US president a criminal for the casualties, damages, and the slander he inflicted on the Iranian nation".
