The AIADMK has launched a sharp counterattack on Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder Vijay, accusing him of "narcissistic behaviour", political immaturity and moral inconsistency, while holding him responsible for the deaths of 41 people in last year's Karur rally stampede.
Escalating its criticism, the party questioned Vijay's recent attempts to project himself as a challenger to both the DMK and the AIADMK.
