As part of activities to mark his 60th birthday anniversary, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Abbas Tajudeen, has paid registration fees for 100 inmates to sit the 2025 National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) and National Examinations Council (NECO) tests.
Fifty-seven of the inmates will sit for the NABTEB examination, while the remaining 43 were registered for NECO.
Speaker Abbas, who called for low-key celebrations by members of the House, aides, friends, and political associates, emphasised the need to channel his goodwill and services to humanitarian campaigns.
The Speaker also gave food items worth millions of naira to internally displaced persons and inmates at the Kuje Custodial Centre in Abuja.
