From the viral marry me mushroom recipe to the Korean food craze, or even dalgona coffee (remember that?), it is fair to say that food bloggers do not just influence what we eat, but also how we eat.

The food culture has changed so much that a single viral video can turn a humble dish into a nationwide obsession overnight, and restaurants fill up not because of word of mouth any more, but because a creator called it "a must-try." However, the real question is, do we actually want that kind of influence, and is it even healthy?

Celebrity chef and restaurateur Varun Inamdar agrees that food bloggers have become powerful voices in shaping what we crave, cook, order, and even avoid.
