My letter is directed at the BBC World Questions programme.
If I understand correctly, the visit has been induced by the BBC noting that Guyana’s GDP per person is now high because of the export value of ExxonMobil’s offshore deep-water oil, a resource in excess of 11.6 billion barrels of oil and 13-16 trillion standard cubic feet of gas.
