March 10 (Reuters) - World number one Aryna β Sabalenka eased past 16th seed Naomi Osaka 6-2 6-4 on Tuesday to reach the β Indian Wells quarter-finals, while fourth seed Alexander Zverev also progressed to the last βeight.
The two four-time Grand Slam champions were meeting for the first time since 2018, when Osaka beat Sabalenka at the U.S.
